The first Hainan International Microfilm Contest was launched on January 6.
The first Hainan International Microfilm Annual Contest, hosted by Microfilm Association of Hainan Province, was officially launched on January 6.
The contest is to collect excellent microfilm works from 59 visa-free countries in Hainan, the countries along the “Belt and Road” route and other friendly countries. Selected microfilms will participate in the finals in Hainan.
During the process of selection, the participating countries can launch domestic qualifiers with authorizations from the organizer and joint-sponsorship of the competition; 3 to 24 outstanding microfilms will be selected to attend the final on behalf of the country. The deadline for submission is August 20, 2019.
The contest sets 18 awards, with the First Special Prize of 1 million yuan.
The Microfilm Association of Hainan Province also announced its establishment at the ceremony.
