Hainan, steadily promoting the construction of pilot free trade zone and free trade port with Chinese characteristics, attracts more and more overseas talents and foreign-funded enterprise to seek opportunities for cooperation and development.

On the afternoon of April 9, 10 members of the academicians and scientists from the high-tech field in South Africa visited Hainan Unican Science and Technology Innovation Institute, and participated in the South African High-tech Scientists and Academicians Exchange Meeting in the afternoon, planning the future of collaboration between Hainan and South Africa. 

The two sides introduced their respective high-tech projects and developments, and conducted in-depth discussions on 100% fully degradable plastics, selective light-transmissive agricultural films, and high-speed three-dimensional printing systems for metal parts.
