The reporter learned from Hainan Provincial Higher People's Court that the Supreme People's Court approved the establishment of the Haikou Intellectual Property Court and the Hainan Foreign Civil and Commercial Court in Hainan, to better adapt to the trend and development of Hainan Free Trade Zone.

This move also aims to accelerate to from the legal, international and convenient business environment, and the fair and unified market environment.

With the continuous development of the construction of Hainan Free Trade Zone and the Free Trade Port, intellectual property rights and foreign-related civil and commercial disputes have been increasing in Hainan. The establishment of the two types of courts is conducive to shape Hainan's international image of opening up to the outside world and respecting intellectual property rights. It's also the specific measure for Hainan to optimize the business environment.

The Provincial High Court will actively implement relevant documents, speed up the construction of the two types of courts, build Hainan into a highland for the judicial protection of intellectual property, substantially improve the quality and efficiency of foreign-related civil and commercial cases, and provide strong judicial guarantee for the construction of Hainan Free Trade Zone and Free Trade Port.
