On July 17th,  the import and export of Hainan province has presented rapid growth, and foreign investment has increased substantially in H1,according to the press conference of Hainan provincial economic performance in the first half of 2019.

In the first half of the year, the total import and export volume of goods in Hainan province was 45.56 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 45.6%. Among them, the export volume were 16.45 billion yuan, up 46%, while the import were 29.11 billion yuan, up 45.4%.

In addition, the number of new foreign direct investment projects has amounted to 163 in the province, an increase of 117 over the same period of last year. The actual use of foreign capital totaled US$161 million, a year-on-year increase of 3.6 times.
