From 9:30 to 12:00 on October 13th, the former chief curator of the Palace Museum, Shan Jixiang, will be the guest of the Hainan Free Trade Forum and render a lecture in Hainan Library with the theme of "The Artisan Benevolence - Let the Cultural Heritage Resources Live".
Shan Jixiang graduated from the School of Architecture of Tsinghua University with a major in urban planning and design, and was the student of Professor Wu Liangyong, the academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, acquiring a doctorate in engineering. He has ever served successively as Director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics, Party Secretary of the Fangshan District Committee, Director of the Beijing Municipal Planning Commission, Director of the National Cultural Heritage Administration, and chief curator of the Palace Museum.
