海南省外事办告在琼外籍人士书

A Letter to All Foreign Friends in Hainan

　　针对近期新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情，海南省委、省政府高度重视，统一部署，于1月25日启动了全省重大突发公共卫生事件一级响应，各项疫情防控工作有序有效展开。在此，我办提醒在琼的各位外籍人士：

　　The CPC Hainan Provincial Committee and Hainan Provincial Government have attached great importance to the fight against the epidemic caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) and made unified deployments. On January 25, 2020, the level I public health emergency response was activated. So far the preventive and control work have been carried out in an orderly and effectiveway. Hereby, we would like to make following suggestions for all foreign friends in Hainan:

　　一、关注权威信息

　　请关注海南省卫生健康委员会“健康新海南”、“南海网”等官方媒体微信公众号和微博，获取新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情官方权威信息通报，了解海南省定点医院名单和有关疫情防控指引措施等信息，也可致电：12320，了解相关信息。

　　I. Follow authoritative information.Please refer to“jiankangxinhainan”(the official wechat and weibo account run by Hainan Provincial Health Commission) and other official wechat accounts such as “Hinews” for updated information of the epidemic, the list of designated hospitals in Hainan, and preventive and treatment guide. If you have any questions, please call 24-hour hotline: 12320, for further information.

　　二、加强自我防护

　　保持良好的个人卫生习惯，注意勤洗手。咳嗽、打喷嚏时应使用纸巾捂住口鼻，不随地吐痰，废弃口罩按规定规范投放。适当开窗通风，注意保持室内环境卫生。避免接触野生或禽类动物，减少生冷食物摄入，食用熟食，多喝热水。

　　II. Strengthen self-protection. Maintain good personal hygiene by washing hands often with soap or alcohol-based sanitizer. Cover your coughs or sneezes with a tissue. No spitting. Dispose of used masks according to regulations. Keep your room properly ventilated and clean.Avoid close contact with any wild animal or poultry. Eggs and meat should be thoroughly cooked. Drink more hot water.

　　三、减少外出活动

　　尽量避免前往人员密集的场所，尽量减少聚会、聚餐等群体活动。若必须前往，请正确佩戴口罩。若出现发热、咳嗽、胸闷、乏力等症状，须佩戴口罩前往我省定点医疗机构就诊。

　　III. Minimize outdoor activities. Avoid crowded places, parties and group activities.Correctly wear a mask if you have to go and attend one. If you have mild to severe respiratory infection symptoms such as fever, cough, breathing difficulty or fatigue,please go to a designated hospital with a mask on.

　　四、配合参与联防联控

　　如果您近期曾到访过疫情高发地区或接触过疫情高发地区的来琼人员，要密切关注自身的身体状况，尽量居家休息，减少外出活动。如有不适应当及时向当地疾病预防控制机构或指定部门报告。如果有当地政府、社区工作人员、医务人员做疫情防控登记询问您的情况，请予以理解支持并积极配合相关工作。

　　IV. Cooperate in the joint preventive and control efforts. If you have visited the infected area (now back to Hainan), or had contact with people who are from the epidemic area, please closely observe your health condition and stay at home. If you feel uncomfortable please report to the local disease control authorities or designated departments. Please cooperate with government or community personnel or medical staff if they inquire about your condition.
